Hegelmann Express GmbH, a major European player in transport and logistics, has joined forces with osapiens, a leading software developer for transparency and efficiency solutions, to implement a comprehensive suite of digital ESG compliance solutions. The rollout marks a significant milestone in Hegelmann’s sustainability journey, reinforcing its commitment to transparency, responsible business practices, and regulatory alignment.

The partnership includes the deployment of:

• A Corporate Carbon Footprint (CCF) tracking and GHG management system.
• A CSRD-compliant sustainability reporting system.
• A CSDDD-ready due diligence platform for effective supply chain risk management.
• A multilingual digital whistleblowing channel compliant with the EU Whistleblower
  Protection Directive.

Scalable ESG Implementation Across Logistics Operations

At Hegelmann, the initiative is being led by the Sustainability and Compliance teams. The goal: to integrate regulatory ESG requirements into daily logistics operations through a smart, centralized, and AI-driven digital solution. After evaluating the market, Hegelmann selected osapiens as a long-term technology partner based on the platform’s ability to combine regulatory know-how, scalable architecture, and user-friendly execution.

The solution enables Hegelmann to map supply chain partners, assess ESG risks, and automate documentation and corrective actions, ensuring compliance with the EU Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD). Simultaneously, the new whistleblowing tool provides secure, anonymous, multilingual reporting channels for employees and subcontracted drivers across Europe.
